Zippel Bay Resort is a classic four-season Minnesota fishing resort located in a secluded setting on Zippel Bay along the south shore of Lake of the Woods near Williams, Minnesota. Lake of the Woods is renowned for walleye and sauger, while the protected waters of Zippel Bay are particularly well known for trophy northern pike. During the open-water season, the resort offers guided charter fishing aboard 30-foot boats, smaller fishing-boat rentals, dock space, a concrete boat ramp, bait and tackle, and fish-cleaning and freezing services.

Accommodations range from comfortable one-, two- and four-bedroom housekeeping cabins to larger waterfront Norway pine log cabins. The deluxe cabins add an upscale element to the traditional fishing-resort experience, with full kitchens, fireplaces, large decks, air conditioning and spacious configurations suitable for families and fishing groups.

Winter is equally important at Zippel Bay. The resort maintains wide, flagged ice roads onto Lake of the Woods and offers heated day houses, sleeper houses and other ice-fishing options. After a day on the lake, guests can return to the lodge for dining and drinks, giving the property the welcoming social atmosphere associated with a traditional northern Minnesota fishing lodge.
